On May 15, the 6th Huaihe Overseas Chinese Business Conference, themed “Business Gathering at the Hub, Intelligence Leading the Future,” officially opened. More than 200 representatives of overseas Chinese community leaders and entrepreneurs participated in the event.
After years of development, the Huaihe Overseas Chinese Business Conference has leveraged overseas Chinese as a bridge and united business forces, becoming an important platform connecting global Chinese business resources and aggregating overseas Chinese wisdom and talent. It has injected strong momentum into open cooperation and coordinated development across the Huaihe River region.
Building on a new starting point, this year’s conference focuses on empowering new quality productive forces, promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation. It aims to help the Huaihe Ecological Economic Belt develop new competitive advantages while integrating into the dual circulation development pattern and attracting overseas capital, technology, and talent.

At the city promotion session, relevant speakers emphasized that Huai’an boasts a solid industrial foundation, strong growth momentum, and promising prospects. The city remains committed to strengthening industry and innovation-driven development, striving to become a key force in Jiangsu’s advancement of new quality productive forces.

At the event, several entrepreneur representatives shared their stories of starting businesses in Huai’an and achieving mutual growth and win-win cooperation. They expressed their intention to continue using the conference as a platform to further invest and deepen their presence in Huai’an, while bringing in more investment projects.
In recent years, Huai’an has followed a path of new-type industrialization, integrating the development of new quality productive forces with industrial upgrading. This year’s conference highlighted industrial chain collaboration, scientific and technological innovation, and the introduction of high-end talent.
