PADI IDC Indonesia 2026 Instructor Development Schedule Announced in Gili Trawangan

The 2026 PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) schedule has been officially announced for Indonesia, with all programs taking place in the renowned Gili Islands region. Conducted under the direction of Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, the training continues to represent one of Indonesia’s most respected professional-level diving programs.

Hosted at Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan — Indonesia’s first-ever established PADI IDC Centre — the 2026 IDC sessions are set to deliver world-class instructor training designed to meet global diving education standards. The facility has been operating for more than 30 years and remains a cornerstone of professional scuba training within Indonesia’s diving community.

2026 PADI IDC Indonesia Schedule:

  • January 7–26 (Instructor Exam: Jan 27–28)
  • February 11–March 2 (Instructor Exam: Mar 3–4)
  • March 18–April 6 (Instructor Exam: Apr 7–8)
  • April 22–May 11 (Instructor Exam: May 12–13)
  • May 27–June 15 (Instructor Exam: Jun 16–17)
  • July 1–20 (Instructor Exam: Jul 21–22)
  • August 5–24 (Instructor Exam: Aug 25–26)
  • September 9–28 (Instructor Exam: Sept 29–30)
  • October 14–November 2 (Instructor Exam: Nov 3–4)
  • November 18–December 7 (Instructor Exam: Dec 8–9)

Each course integrates PADI’s global standards with additional experience-based training, providing instructor candidates with the confidence and practical skills required to succeed in diverse diving environments. The curriculum is specifically designed to exceed standard IDC expectations, preparing new instructors for real-world teaching challenges.

Course Director Holly Macleod brings over 23 years of international diving experience and a professional record of more than 3,500 instructor certifications issued within Indonesia. Recognized as a Platinum PADI Course Director for 13 consecutive years, Macleod’s programs have consistently been identified as among the most comprehensive within the Asia-Pacific region.
